Sanford Historic Garden Tour

Tour eleven of the Sanford Historic District’s most beautiful gardens. On this walking or driving tour, meander down tree-lined streets and admire the well-preserved architecture, wrap-around porches, verandas, and manicured gardens where there’s always something blooming.

After gathering inspiration, visit our Plant Sale in Park on Park (800 Park Avenue), sponsored by Ixora Garden Club and the Sanford Community Garden. We’ll have several vendors selling garden-themed gifts just in time for Mother’s Day! The plant sale is open to the public.

We will also have guest speakers from the Sanford Community Garden & Harry P. Leu Gardens, and a "plant your own sunflower" activity for kids.
