Tour eleven of Sanford Historic District’s most beautiful gardens. On this walking or driving tour, meander down tree-lined streets and admire the well-preserved architecture, wrap-around porches, verandas, and manicured gardens where there’s always something blooming.
After gathering inspiration, visit our Plant Sale in Park on Park (800 Park Avenue), sponsored by Ixora Garden Club and the Sanford Community Garden. We’ll have several vendors selling garden-themed gifts just in time for Mother’s Day! The plant sale is open to the public.
Creations Catering will also be selling boxed lunches for only $10.
The Sanford Community Garden will also have an area for kids to plant a sunflower ($1 per child) to take home, and a lemonade stand.
Day of tickets will be sold at Park on Park and that is also where you will need to check in for presale tickets.
Masks and social distancing are encouraged. A volunteer will be at the entry of each garden to manage traffic flow.
* This is a rain or shine event
* Children 3 and under are FREE
